CONFERENCE
LOCATION:
The
Bent on Change conference will be held in Toronto, Ontario on November
1and 2, 2002.
This year, there are two venues for the conference both conveniently
situated close together in downtown, Toronto.
Friday,
November 1:
Ryerson University campus in Oakham House
63 Gould Street (SW corner of Church and Gould Streets).
This
venue is wheelchair accessible.

November 2:
Jarvis Collegiate Institute
495 Jarvis Street (SE corner of Jarvis and Wellesley Streets).
This venue is also wheelchair accessible. A ramp is at the south end of
the building, and there is an elevator which can be used during the conference.

GETTING TO RYERSON

Public Transportation:
Yonge/Dundas subway station: Walk one block north on Yonge from the Eaton
Centre to Gould Street, turn right at Sam the Record Man, walk one block
east to Victoria Street.
Yonge/College subway station: Walk two blocks south from College Park on
Yonge Street, turn left at Sam the Record Man, walk one block east to Victoria
Street.

Car:
Ryerson is bounded by four major city streets: Gerrard (north), Dundas
(south), Jarvis (east), and Yonge (west).
Main
traffic routes are as follows: Highway 401 east or west to Yonge Street,
south on Yonge, turn left (east) at Gerrard or Gould (no turns are permitted
at Yonge and Dundas). Don Valley Parkway south to Bloor Street, turn right
(west) at Bloor, turn left (south) at Church, continue until Gerrard, Gould
or Dundas. Gardiner Expressway east or west to Yonge Street, continue north
until Gould or Gerrard. City street maps show alternate routes. See

Parking
at Ryerson:
There are two parking lots at Ryerson for visitors: 300 Victoria Street,
just north of Dundas, or 160 Mutual Street, just south of Gerrard. There
are also parking lots at the Eaton Centre and on streets such as Carlton,
Church, Dundas, Bay, and Gerrard. See

Yonge subway northbound or southbound to Wellesley Station. Walk east (6-7
minutes) or take the Wellesley bus east to Jarvis.
Carlton streetcar to Jarvis Street. Walk north one block to Wellesley St.
Dundas or Queen streetcar to Sherbourne St. Take Sherbourne bus north to
Wellesley St. Walk one block west to Jarvis
